We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Sara Simanian to our pediatric dental team! Dr. Sara will provide the same high level of care you have come to expect from both Dr. Josh and Dr. Iris. Dr. Sara brings a warm, compassionate approach in providing exceptional care for children. Dr. Sara believes every child deserves a gentle, joy-filled start to their dental journey. As a pediatric dentist trained at the University of California, San Francisco- she blends advanced clinical expertise with genuine warmth, compassion, and a touch of sparkle in every visit. Dr. Sara earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Roseman University, where she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon and honored for leadership and lifelong scholarship. She went on to complete her Master of Public Health (MPH) at San Jose State University and her Advanced Education Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at UCSF, where she served as Sedation Chief and received the prestigious Ray Braham Award for exemplary service and patient-centered care. She comes to us with the highest recommendations and will be a huge asset to our team and to your children.

With a strong academic and research background- including publications in the World Journal of Clinical Oncology and contributions to the British Dental Journal Open- Dr. Sara brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to treating children of all ages and needs. Her clinical training spans hospital dentistry, sedation, craniofacial genetics, pediatric airway, and caring for children with complex medical histories. 

Dr. Sara is fluent in English and Farsi, conversational in Spanish, and passionate about making high-quality pediatric dental care accessible, comforting, and joyful for every child she meets.
