Dear Parents and Patients,
It is with great excitement that we welcome Dr. Iris Tinloy (known as Dr. Iris to her patients) to our practice! Dr. Iris will be a wonderful addition to our team and we can't wait for our patients to meet her and experience all she has to offer!
Dr. Iris grew up in San Jose, California and loves the Bay Area. She completed the University of the Pacific’s Accelerated Dental Program in Stockton, California, where she received her B.S. in Biological Sciences. She then obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Iris completed a one-year General Practice Residency focusing on Hospital Dentistry at Community Medical Center in Fresno, California. After working a few years as a family dentist in the Bay Area, Dr. Iris wanted to focus on providing care to children. She always loved working with kids and found it more fun and rewarding. Dr. Iris moved to New York where she trained in an intensive two-year pediatric dentistry residency at BronxCare Health System in Bronx, New York. She received specialized training in comprehensive dental care for both healthy and medically compromised children. Dr. Iris returned to the Bay after her residency and is a Board Certified pediatric dentist. She comes to us after working for a recently retired Dentist in Fremont who was one of Dr. Josh's greatest mentors.
Dr. Iris strongly believes in building a trusting relationship with her patients and creating a warm, welcoming environment for her patients and their families. She is passionate about providing quality care for her patients with a strong emphasis on oral health education and prevention-based dentistry.
Outside of private practice, Dr. Iris and her husband Jeff have a son and a daughter who keep them quite busy. She loves to spend time with her family, going to local parks, reading, traveling, and all things Disney. You will also see her supporting the 49ers, Warriors and Giants!
Dr. Iris is a Member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Southern Alameda County Dental Society.
She is looking forward to meeting your families and we ensure you that your children will be receiving the same outstanding dental care from her that you are accustomed to in our office. Dr. Iris is extremely kind, positive, and has a wonderful bedside manner. We can’t wait for you to meet her!
